Dallas Cowboys 7-Round Mock Draft Update: April 1.
As in our previous two editions, I’ll take a look at the Dallas Cowboys’ potential draft scenarios from three different angles. First, I’ll do a straight best-player available scenario, especially since some people believe the Dallas Cowboys can simply take the best player available after their free agency moves. In this instance I took the best player on the board, regardless of position. The second scenario is a need-based draft. I now consider these positions to be of highest need for the Dallas Cowboys — defensive line, cornerback and running back. The third is also based on taking the best player available, but I allow some wiggle room to take a player among the Top 10 available at that time, if I feel it’s a better option for the Dallas Cowboys.
